I wa
s not able to master the alphabet, let alone reading so I was hit often. But I was very good at arithmetic and could answer orally however if I wrote the answers I often reversed the numbers and the conclusion was that I was lazy because I would not try to read and write and stupid because I knew the answers in arithmetic but could not put them down correctly.

If a person can’t read fast enough (determined by people who set standards and norms) most academic professions are out of reach. I wanted to study medicine but this was out of the question for a learning disabled person no matter what their I.Q and potential are.

They sent me to school at age six, even though, they knew by then that I was lazy and stupid.
This is based on my school years and although the chosen art works were created over the past 20 years, in nine different countries, they all relate to that period.
